Iranians who want to get a new passport in Canada must first create an electronic file on the Mikhak system (profile), fill out the passport application form, upload images of the required documents, and send it online to the Canada Headquarters at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or visit the office for the Protection of Interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran in person (with the tracking code received from the system). Once these steps are done, they will complete the process and receive their passports.
For more information and to review all the steps and documents needed for the complete process of applying for a new Iranian passport in Canada, you can read the full guide.
One of the steps in applying for a new passport is paying the application fee. The passport issuance fee must be paid by a relative or acquaintance in Iran at one of the National Bank branches across the country to the Euro account number 2078070003 in the name of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dublin. After completing all the following steps, send the payment receipt, along with other documents, to the WhatsApp number 989108106635+.
The cost of issuance varies depending on the applicant’s circumstances. The figures below are taken from online sources of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as of January 10, 2025, and are only valid when applying through the Canada Headquarters (Dublin route).
