There are several ways to apply for a criminal record certificate for applicants residing in Canada:
Method 1: Canada Headquarters – Tehran
- Visit the local Canadian police and get your fingerprints taken.
- Send the original fingerprint form to Iran and deliver it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs service desk in Tehran. (Providing the form at provincial offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is not possible).
- The tracking code for the criminal record certificate application must be obtained from the Mikhak system.
- Anyone can deliver the fingerprint form to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs service desk after paying the fee. It is not necessary to be a first-degree relative or have power of attorney. The service fee is 25 Euros, which must be paid by your representative to the National Bank.
- After one month, the criminal record certificate from the Iranian police will be sent in English to the applicant’s email address.
Method 2: Interests Section in Washington D.C.
- Visit the local Canadian police and get your fingerprints taken.
- Send the original fingerprint form to the Washington office according to the guide link.
- After receiving the documents and registering them in the system, the criminal record certificate will be sent in English from the Iranian police to the applicant’s email address after one month.

Method 3: Adliran International Website of the Judiciary
The Adliran International website of the Judiciary (https://international.adliran.ir) also provides this service online. (Fee payment in Iranian Toman) A smart national ID card or its receipt is required for this purpose.
Method 4: Sana Judiciary Services Agent
The Sana Judiciary Services agent called ITsaz (https://international-sana.itsaaz.com) also provides this service online. (Fee payment in Euros) A smart national ID card or its receipt is required for this purpose.
