The process for issuing an educational exemption permit for male students at the bachelor’s level is summarized below:
Step 1: Registering a File and Enrollment Certificate in the Mikhak System
- The student registers an educational file in the Mikhak system (Educational Affairs section), leaving the exemption field blank.
- Register your enrollment certificate in the system.
Step 2: Certificate Approval and Action in Other Systems
After the enrollment certificate is approved, the student or their relatives simultaneously take action in two other systems:
- Sakha System: This system registers the application for student educational exemption abroad.
- Sajjad Ministry of Science system or Movahed Ministry of Health system.
Step 3: Referring to the Conscription Organization and Re-filing in Mikhak
After approval, the student’s family or their lawyer refers to the Conscription Organization to deposit collateral and obtain educational exemption.
Then, the student re-files in the Mikhak system, this time with the educational exemption status.
Important Notes
Male students who obtained their diploma in Iran and are currently students in Canada, or who were students in Iran and left Iran on a tourist visa and started studying in Canada, can also obtain an overseas educational exemption by following this process and obtain a special student exit stamp and return to Iran and return to Canada without any problems.
- The university must be approved by the Ministry of Science or the Ministry of Health.
- To obtain an exemption, it is mandatory to refer to the Conscription Organization and deposit collateral.
- The student must, after completing the steps, re-file in the Mikhak system and specify their educational exemption status.
